Wade. The event will include an award ceremony and presentation by author Ann Fessler, followed by a book signing and reception.

At 5:15 join the Young Women's Initiative for an intimate discussion with author Ann Fessler just before she receives WOMEN'S WAY's Ernesta Drinker Ballard Book Prize. Ann will answer questions, discuss her process for researching and writing The Girls Who Went Away , and give advice to aspiring authors and activists.
