Discussions > Take a Look at Our New JBS.org
We just launched a new version of JBS.org (
http://www.jbs.org
) last night.
Take a look. You'll see a definite difference.
Be sure to look at our twelve new issue pages. See the Issue pages directory at
http://www.jbs.org/index.php/issues
.
There are also twelve new issue blogs corresponding to the new issues pages. See the directory for the issue blogs at
http://www.jbs.org/index.php/blogs
.
We also have a new page for the JBS.org Freedom Campaign at
http://www.jbs.org/index.php/action-agenda-programs/freedom-campaig
... . We're still in the process of fleshing out this page. You will see a new JBS.org Freedom Campaign Headlines blog at the top of this page. This blog will be used to give overall direction to the JBS.org Freedom Campaign as it expands to cover all twelve issues areas.
Which brings us to an important change in the JBS.org Freedom Campaign. From now on the campaign will be covering news and legislation on all twelve of the issues mentioned above. We'll still be featuring our Block the NAU, Repeal NAFTA, and Stop Illegal Immigration projects, but we'll be adding in new activities for the rest of the twelve issue areas.
You'll also notice the twelve JBS issues are carried over to our new forum at
http://jbsforum.org
.
Let me know what you think about the changes.

I like the added graphics and the rotation of the newsfeed stories. That is a realy nice flashy improvement to the main page. The added issues to our agenda is also great because it gives people a chance to hang around a while and study our point of view on issues that are on the minds of most concerned Americans. I like the coming feature where Chapter leaders can be located quickly. I see this particular chapter leader locator turning into a valuable public relations tool down the road. For example a video introduction by every chapter leader doing a short bio of himself or her, and telling the viewer what his chapter is up to, etc. I like the added feature of the comment box at the bottom of each story and the added icons to the various sharing of stories.

Robert,
Good point!
We are aware that we’ve left some valuable stuff behind and will be working to restore the good stuff on the new website.
I’ve sent your comments on to the people involved in the transition.

The "Testimonials" section is gone! It should be brought back and is a powerful piece. It is something that immediatly debunks the smear stuff without addressing it directly.

Larry-the new web site is really great! Will pass along the info and urge chapter members to check it daily. I'm not certain they do. Congrats!
