Although Senator Obama’s bill does not appropriate any money, it is a steppingstone to executive action and further legislation that would add hundreds of billions of dollars to our foreign aid spending in order to implement United Nations Millennium Development Goals.

With our economy in the poor shape it’s in, why would we want to spend so much more on foreign aid?

And why should theUnited States spend these hundreds of billions of dollars on a United Nations program anyway?
