Dear Concerned Taxpayer

    Let me ask you honestly, if you feel better about this Bailout bill than you did on Monday? The reason I ask is because your Congress men and women seem to think you have given up. They are prepared to pass this legislation today that now totals over 850 billion dollars. They think you don’t care. The ones who voted no have had the deal sufficiently sweetened to their taste.

    Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri spokesman Danny Rotert, declared, "America feels differently today than it did on Monday about this bill."

    Is that how you feel?

Do not give up! We lost the FISA vote because we gave in after they waited us out. All of Washington D.C.’s worst have been spreading lies and misinformation on what will happen to the economy if we don’t act. They are trying to terrorize us into capitulating, saying that credit is drying up for everyone all over the country. (Funny, I got 5 credit card applications in the mail yesterday)

The government isn’t the only one to blame for this crisis. There are a lot of special interests that stand to gain too.

In fact,the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is not shy about attributing the causes of the Panic of 1907 to financial manipulation from the existing banking establishment.  "If Knickerbocker Trust would falter, then Congress and the public would lose faith in all trust companies and banks would stand to gain, the bankers reasoned."
