We are the Midland and Odessa Ron Paul Meetups, and we have delegates to three Counties, Ector, Midland and Howard County.  We look forward to these County Conventions.  I've emailed Pennsylvania that we would send our left over Slim Jims, and I await an address to ship them.

As this battle is about the message and not the messenger, we are hoping to establish a Ron Paul Radio Station to help inform the public as to what is really happening with our country.  So many people only listen to the mass media that we are being spoon fed, don't realize the truth and still have no idea about Ron Paul or Mike Gravel.  I just found out from a poll that Gravel is still in, and I guess he is getting the same treatment that Dr. Paul has endured, and we, as Dr. Paul's supporters, have had to endure.  I used my frustration with them to campaign even harder, bought magnetic signs for both of our cars, had more meetings and canvassing.  We must keep up this energy, and in my Meetup, I have many young people who are musicians so we plan to have a fund raising concert to help buy the equipment for the radio station.

We hope to have a varied format.  Talk show, survival program, music from our local musicians who don't get played in West Texas because we have only corporate radio, political forum, etc.  If any musicians out there want to contribute their work to the cause, we will play anything (style) that is good music.  If any of you are interested in playing the concert, which will be rock ending in techno, to be held at the Roadhouse in Odessa, TX, please contact Darrin Stark and/or Txz045 on my meetup, or you can contact me, Carole J. Cone, Organizer of the Midland Ron Paul Meetup.  I put our Midland Meetup link below.  A specific date has not been picked as we have the marches in April and June and have been focused on the County Conventions.  The tentative time frame will probably be October or first half of November before the National Convention.  Maybe we can combine the radio advertising we will do for the Concert with the message that you can still vote for Dr. Paul in the national elections by writing him in if he doesn't win the Republican nomination.  Here in Texas, you can still request a paper ballot.  Please do on November 15th, and write in Dr. Paul if he isn't on the ballot.  Our vote is our voice on how we would like our country run.  Asking for the paper ballot is also establishing our right to a vote that is recorded.  Boycott the machines!
