This Alliance is a democratically-organized umbrella group for local atheist groups that want to contribute their voice and support to the atheist movement; and for local groups that are looking for expertise and support to help their local atheist group grow.

We welcome existing groups and will help new groups start within the Alliance.

6. We've got tons of articles and expert help in supporting YOUR local group!

What is expected of local groups in the Alliance:

1. We expect your group to be committed to naturalism, skepticism and rationalism.  We're going to disinvite you if you're a stealth Christian trying to convert atheists or if you're pushing an alternative non-scientific belief system like astrology or crystal worship or magnet-healing or Elvis' second coming.

How to get involved:

1. Sign up your group to our Alliance.
2. Include a note to say hi and tell us about how you found us, why you're excited about joining us, whatever help you might want, etc.  We want your group to thrive and be as successful and empowered as you want to be!
