If you are a new member:
please introduce yourself:
Our main goal is to voice out our ideas, feelings, concerns, etc
but in order to do so, we need to understand one another and what background do we come from
I am the person that posted the discussion
and since i am a new member, i will start first
my name is Jenny
im from Santa Barbara
I like to eat noodles but i dont like green veggies on there (grr!!)
the reason i wanted to join this group is because i am very concern for our country
the people who live in this country
i personally Hate war
im very upset with the loss of lives who had to go through war to survive
i dont like violence
it's an immature way to deal with problems
i know there are may ways to counter what i said
but im not just thinking about the loss of lives
but i worry for the pain and the effects that american citizens have to go through
i dont want children growing up watching the news on war, thinking that it's so 'cool'
i dont want any of my friends risking their life, especially when they are so bright
i dont want moms or dads missing parts of their childs life when it could only happen once
i dont want grandparents lossing a love one when really they should be the one to go first, a need to know that they family members are happy when they leave
i am very upset and i still am
if i remembered correctly, bush signed some stupid paper to fund more money into the war
the war where we are fighting an invisible force
Now that i have posted an example
i hope that everyone else would do so too
doesnt have to be like mine
have your originality in it too!
Let's do this! Yay!!
What's up Jenny.
My name is Justin, I'm from Salem Oregon. I like Hiking, Swimming, Gardening, and of course grenn vegies. But most importantly I like speaking out for peace.
This war is a horrible crime. Like all wars. Instigated and exicuted by the rich and powerful with the soul purpose of making themselves more rich and powerful. Meanwhile the common man pays the price with their taxes, thier environment, and most tragicly THIER LIVES.
No soldier left behind is a great idea, with a well stated outline for action.
"Peace to the masses that's the new mission" (Franti)
Hi justin
Thank you for joining "No Soldier Left Behind"!
I enjoyed reading your side of view about this horrible war that is still going on.
I agree about how life is twisted. To even think about having the guts to make a profit off the war.
Psh!!!
Anyways, i posted a new discussion.
You may read it if you like.
P.s. Thank you again! You rock!
